The theme, Everlasting, was based on John 11:25–26. The design played with the concept of eternity while also creating a landscape for the temporary resting place of Jesus’ body. The designs for Good Friday and Easter can be viewed as a full day—starting at night on Good Friday with a closed tomb and the sun setting and returning on Easter morning to a beautiful sunrise and the joy of an open tomb.
